Winter Olympics Science
by Cathy Jefferson - Wednesday, December 9, 2009, 02:51 PM

Way Cool!
Watch this winter’s Olympic Games with a lot more knowledge about how the athletes and their equipment perform. Vancouver, British Columbia will host the 2010 Winter Olympics from February 12 – 28. NBC who will televise the Games, has teamed with the National Science Foundation to interview and film athletes, coaches, and scientists to help us understand the physics, biology, chemistry and engineering of the materials and the manpower that make up an Olympic athlete.

View the 16-part video series at NBC Learn and follow the competition this February at the official Olympic web site, Vancouver 2010.
